e-namjari introduced by paying online using QR code

By paying the required fee in e-namjari, the applicant can collect online DCR (Duplicate Carbon Receipt) with QR Code (Quick Response Code). This DCR will be equivalent to the DCR issued by manual method or printed from BG Press and will be legally valid and universally acceptable and usable. The directive was issued by the land ministry on Tuesday, December 2, in a circular regarding online payment of fees for e-namazari, deposit and consolidation of deposits. In order to make the citizen service easier and so that the citizens can pay the fees for e-namazari, deposit and consolidation completely online, the Ministry of Land has issued the above circular after checking the necessary rules and regulations and previous relevant circulars under the direction of Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury. According to the circular, first of all, the applicant must submit the e-namazari application online with a court fee of Tk. 20 and a notice issuance fee of Tk 50 - a total of Tk 70 online. After the approval of the nominee, the applicant will have to deposit one thousand taka online for the record correction or update fee and one hundred Taka for each copy of the nominee ledger, i.e., a total of one thousand one hundred Taka. The circular further said that by paying the said one thousand one hundred Taka, the applicant will be able to collect online DCR with QR code. This DCR will be equivalent to the DCR issued by manual method or printed from BG Press and will be legally valid and universally acceptable and usable. The receipt in the prescribed form after collection of government dues other than land tax is called DCR.
